On Sunday 4 March 2012 we hosted a visit from the executive team of the Federation of Rail Organisations of New Zealand during a weekend get-together in Wellington.
The quick visit to the site included a tour of our rail vehicle shed, the inspection pit facilities under construction within, restoration work of our Hillside-built shunting locomotive Tr189, yard track including the double slip, and plans for station building and other facilities on-site.
